One of the most cutest families EVER. So sweet and funny and did I mention cute, this family oozes cuteness and it was a pleasure shooting them as we enjoyed a cold fall day. Thankfully it warmed up a little and fun was had by all. Thanks Mark and Kellie!

All the love and excitement that was felt, it was a great day and family and friends gathered to wish the bride and groom all the best in their new life.
Shawn and Andra....
Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day.
Here's lots for their sneak peak, I just couldn't stop myself, and of course there's many more to come.

JAMAICA Mon!!
So on Oct. 4, I was fortunate enough to go on an impromptu trip to Jamaica with my best friend Stella. This was our 2nd trip together, we've been to St. Martin and we've had so much fun together that we want to try to make this an annual get away. While in Jamaica I had the chance to shoot 3 weddings and I also brought a wedding dress for Stella to wear and trash, so on Friday Oct. 10 we got up at 5am (a bit too early I think) and proceeded to head out. We had so much fun, and i got some really wonderful images of Stella, can't wait to show more, but here are a few from the weddings and the trash the dress session. I also did a shoot with a couple that i met that were on the same plane with us and we did a wonderful sunset session together as well. I was too busy to relax, and think I need a vacation from my vacation.
While in Jamaica, we went up Dunn's river falls (my 2nd time up, went up it 15 yrs ago with my hubby) and we checked out Rick's cafe as well, awesome divers and great place for sunsets. If you ever go there, you need to go to 7 mile beach, pristine beautiful warm waters and you need to go to Margaritaville, they not only take great care of you and bring you lounge chairs to lay on or aloe to cool off with and they have great food and drinks too.
Oh and Jamaica has great jewellery too, diamonds and such, so make sure you bring your credit card with you, lol.
Onto the pics, yes, there's alot of them, lol.
First sunset

My gorgeous friend Stellitsa

Love this shot, its Maragaritville at 7 mile beach.

Busy busy
Been very busy trying to keep up with everything, sessions, editing, George just went back to school, SK now, my lil boy is growing up so fast. I don't get to take as many pictures as I would like of my family anymore as work takes up alot of my time, but every so often I do bring the camera out to take shots of something or other, here's a few of those something or other shots, lol.
I always try to capture lighting but they tend to be pretty quick, lol, so its a difficult feat to accomplish, but I am one happy photog when I do.
This is the hair clip I bought from Danielle Pollak at the CNE, I am showing it in a bigger size so you can see all the wonderful work that goes into it.
Playing with a hose and water and dof.
I also had the pleasure of assisting Silvana from http://www.impulsephoto.com with a gorgeous and fairytale wedding this past weekend and it was quite the experience. It was the most beautiful day out and the weather was so hot and it was a non stop day. So many intricate details, so many beautiful elements that went into this day and I wish Rosanne and Robbie a long life filled with love and happiness. Thanks for inviting me Silvana. Just have a look on Silvana's blog to view some images from the wedding.

Alexander Despatie
We were so excited to meet the wonderful diving champion Alexander Despatie. He was so kind and gracious and such a great young man. A wonderful athlete as well and does his country proud. He won silver in the 2008 Beijing olympics for the 3m springboard. I was so proud that my son had the opportunity to meet this young man, and I think he'll be an inspiration to my son as well as many canadian children. WTG Alexander, we are all proud of you!

Tina & Andrew's wedding
This was a day that family and friends waited for a long time, and we all couldn't be more thrilled that our wonderful friend Tina met a wonderful man and they decided to get married. It was definitely a party, and the love in the room was felt with great intensity. I was honoured to be there and a part of their special day. Here's just a few shots I captured from their day.

The engagement shot I did for them is in the middle and I custom made their guest book for them.

Summer's End
It's been a very busy summer, and I want to thank you all for making this summer the busiest yet. I'm working feverishly on all recent sessions, Gina, Louise, Rina, Tina, Helen, Amy, Jenn, so all of you should be getting your online albums, or prints soon.
Wanted to announce that prices are going up in September, and I appreciate all the support I've been given and encouragement I've received about raising my prices. Prices will still be very reasonable but I need to increase them a bit to cover all the extra expenses that go with being a photographer. So please hurry and book your session now, September is booking up fast, still a few spots left for October and if you are thinking of Christmas pictures NOW is the time to book, as all orders must be in by November 1st to get them in time for Christmas. Also keep in mind that Christmas is a busy time and timelines for editing will be extended. I usually take 2-3 weeks to edit a session and closer to Christmas, that will become 4-5 weeks. So book your session NOW!
Can't believe the summer is almost over, but every year I look forward to one family activity as summer comes to an end. I'm talking about the CNE, or the Ex, as most of us call it. We went the first day it was open, it rained a bit, but all in all it was a wonderful day filled with fun and laughter and tons of food.
I need to give a couple of shout outs to my favourite spots at the CNE. While there and in the food court, because we ALL go to the food court, you must drop by and get some FUDGE from "Ye Olde Fudge Pot" near the entrance/exit to the sports arena. The yummiest fudge and I love their candy apples as well, pick up a slab or two and eat it slowly like I do, savouring each and every bite, or gobble it down right away, its up to you, lol.
My absolute favourite spot to shop at is the awesome and oh so talented Daniel Pollak booth in the Art's and crafts building. OMGosh, if you have not seen this man's work, you are missing out on exquisite and to die for jewellery. From gorgeous broaches, to fabulous hair clips and dazzling earrings and sexy chokers and bracelets, everything a girl could ask for is in this booth. I've told Danny many times, he needs a store and although he also has a booth at the one of a kind art show (Nov. 27-Dec. 7) as well, I always wait til the CNE to go get a fabulous little piece of art for myself. It's actually a birthday present from my hubby as my bday is around the corner. This year, I was immediately blown away by this sparkly and dangly hair clip that was calling out my name, lol. I looked over at hubby with loving eyes and before I knew it he was buying it for me, WOO HOO! It's yet another stunning addition to my collection from Daniel, I love this man and his talent. I will be taking pics of my beautiful hair clip and broach that hubby bought me from there last year. If you go, make sure you say hello from me and tell them that I sent ya.

Beautiful & Pregnant
Meet Louise and her beautiful belly. Met this stunning pregnant lady at the crack of dawn and was taken back by her beauty and petiteness (is that a word?). Such a tiny thing and the camera loved her as you will see below. It was definitely one of my most memorable and most beautiful sessions, and I so look forward to taking pics of her little girl (Zoe) when she makes her appearance in the end of Oct.

Tina's and Andrew Engagement
This was beyond fun, these two are so funny and silly and made me laugh during the whole session. We choose one of my favourite beaches and went at sunset and everyone was surprised that 3 hours went by so quickly as we were all having way too much fun. I was honoured to shoot these two and can't wait for their big day, as I'm going as a guest and not a photographer to their wedding, and yet, you know I'll bring the camera, I can't leave home without out. Plus, I need to capture just a FEW shots of their special day.
Such a pleasure shooting you guys and looking forward to the big day in August.

Midsummer night's dream
Went to the park and found lots of fairies flying around, lol.
It was actually an event that was organized by Kari Svenneby and Debra scott of a great group of parents that get their kids out and about all year around. Their moto is "no bad weather, just bad clothing", and as long as kids are dressed properly there is no reason for them not to go outside and enjoy the day wether is raining, snowing or sunny and bright out.
It was a great get together, the kiddies made laterns and wreaths of flowers for their heads. They were all adorned in wings and fairy frocks, they played with bubbles and danced around and sang and had a wonderful time.

Stay tuned for more images from this event.
